Young colleagues from Cambodia. Starting this month, young colleagues from Cambodia are in Germany.

For the past two years, iPath has been supporting weekly first-generation residency training in Cambodia-trained pathologists through weekly Skype conferences and on-site workshops. Since the end of January, one of the young female colleagues has been attending a 3-month internship at the Institute for Pathology in Neuss. Two other colleagues will follow at the beginning of April and begin their internship at pathological institutes in Minden and Essen. The stay abroad represents a final and important step before the final examination in Cambodia.

Hospitation in Deutschland

Seit zwei Jahren unterstützt iPath durch wöchentliche Skype Konferenzen und Workshops vor Ort die Facharztweiterbildung der ersten Generation in Kambodscha ausgebildeter Pathologen. Seit Ende Januar befindet sich eine der jungen Kolleginnen zu einer 3 monatigen Hospitation im Institut für Pathologie in Neuss. Zwei weitere Kollegen werden Anfang April folgen und in pathologischen Instituten in Minden und Essen ihre Hospitation beginnen. Der Auslandsaufenthalt stellt einen letzten und wichtigen Schritt vor der abschliessenden Facharztprüfung in Kambodscha dar.
